Sometimes we have so many email accounts that make it difficult to maintain them altogether. However, if you have Outlook account as well as Verizon AOL account then you can make it easy for you.   • Password: now enter the password for your account.

  1. Now click on the ‘More Settings’ option which is available near to the right corner of the window.

  2. Under the ‘More Settings’ window, open the Outgoing Server tab and then select the checkbox for ‘My Outgoing server requires authentication’. Also, select the checkbox for ‘Use same settings as my incoming mail server’.

  3. Now click on the ‘Advanced’ tab and enter the following information and then click ‘Ok’ to apply the changes:

  • Incoming Server (IMAP) as 993.

  • Outgoing Server (SMTP) as 465.

  1. After making these changes, click on the Next button. Wait until the Outlook program completes the testing process for the changes you have made.   2. Next, click on the ‘Finish’ button and then check the configuration settings of your account by sending a test email to yourself. If you receive the email back in your account within 5 minutes then it implies that Verizon AOL email account is working without any issue with Outlook.
